1. 48lbs of soap and 50lbs of candle supplies just arrived. *cracks knuckles* I purchased a new round soap mold of the same diameter as my candle containers so that I could use the same sticker size to label and package them with. This resulted in pretty generous soap-bars, at 3 inches in diameter, 1 inch tall, and 5 oz of shea butter soap. I’ll be doing many of the candle scents as soap bars. They smell so good! I used the maximum fragrance percentage. I’ll bring back the dragon shaped soaps closer to the holiday season. The round soaps here have more soap per bar, are an easier shape to wash with, and are much easier to store once made. (no more dented tails or snapped ears!)

  2. I like how the fuzzball obstructs the text so that you can no longer read the fragrance or know what you’re buying. That was a real good decision.

  3. Angel - Almond Scented Soy Candles:These candles were homemade and hand-poured, using eco-friendly soy wax. Angel is a fresh, true almond aroma reminiscent of Jergen’s lotion. Available at my Etsy Shop. My house always ends up smelling like a Bath and Body Works when I’m pouring candles, soaps, or lip balm. Alex comes home and immediately knows what I’ve been up to for the day! The flower and leaf in the photograph is from my back porch. I have Perennials planted that are mostly bushey green stuff, but they sprout flowers a couple times a year.
